Pricing for Our Basement Finishing Services

One of the things that sets Executive Basements apart from other contractors is the fact that we bid the job to do the job…there are no square footage prices here. The cost to finish a basement should be upfront and something we discuss from the start.

We believe in being transparent and forthcoming with you about every little cost – no surprises.

Your typical basement contractor will bid your project based on what they feel is the industry standard for pricing, but we believe square footage pricing is unfair. In some cases, you could have a high square footage price with low quality items, which will increase a contractor’s profit margin. This is why we do not bid jobs based on square footage, but rather on the project as a whole.

Our Basement Remodel Process is Simple

When you choose Executive Basements for your basement remodel, we will begin by looking at the basement in its current state and discussing what your hopes are for the space. Based on this initial meeting, we may make recommendations from our experience to assist you in using the area effectively. At this point, the process will unfold as follows:

  • We take the resale value of your home into consideration and make sure the plan we are recommending makes practical sense
  • We build every plan for every customer on our CAD system. This CAD system allows you to see your basement as a general blueprint on the computer as well as in 3D. You will be able to ‘walk’ through your project in 3D before we ever hammer a nail or put up a beam!
  • The CAD system allows us to make as many plans as needed until you find the one that is just right
  • We also use the CAD to pull our permits and give our employees a plan for your project.
  • This allows our staff to price out your plan effectively with your budget in mind
  • Finally – we move on to building your new basement

Finding the right contractor to complete your basement remodel can be intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be. The entire Executive Basements team is dedicated to working closely with you at every stage of the project, turning your damp, unfinished basement into a beautiful space you and your family will be able to enjoy for many years to come.
